- It was first mentioned at the 2024 Christmas concert with Kamila Nývltová as a sequal to Sun.
- Then, in april 2025, Thomas mentioned it again in an Instagram comment reply[1], stating that the release of Humanity Chapter VI was coming, but due to the recording sessions of Moon, he had to shift his attention. From this we can conclude recording sessions were in March/April 2025. He also mentioned jokingly that it had the code name Soon, referencing an ongoing joke amongst fans about Thomas' unclear and inconsistent messaging about the release of (information about) upcoming albums.
