Information[]

Dawnstar (stylised as Dᴀᴡɴ-ꜱᴛᴀʀ) is an epic album from Nick Phoenix. On 1 August 2024 it was announced that the first single, Cloud of Creation, of the album Barbarian would be released a day later.[1] This was also the announcement of the album. The album will feature Uyanga Bold.[1] A second single, called Dancing in the Drain, released on 9 September and a third, called Barbarian on the 20th of the same month. Immortal followed on the 29th of October. Race For Your Heart, featuring Dave Levita, Ashley Jarmack and Mia Asano, released on 22 November. The Maiden Cross, also featuring Mia and Ashley, released on the 29th.

On 18 April 2025, as Nick thought the last 4 tracks that he wrote for the album were the best, it was announced that the album would be released as Dawn Star as that is the title of Nick's favourite track. At the same time, the covers for the singles that had already been released on streaming services, also including Pixel Paradiso, which released on 25 October 2024 with its own unique cover and was therefor not assumed to be part of Barbarian, were replaced by a WIP cover for Dawnstar. Four days later, the covers had, once again, been replaced by a second set of Dawn-star branded covers. The album is set to release on May 1st.
